Pest Management Solutions has managed to develop a specialised structure of services that is perfectly in keeping with the demands of our customers.
Pest Managements Solutions wants to make sure that vermin is permanently kept off and therefore organises a fixed number of visits per year by its specialised pest control engineers, who will immediately intervene in case of an infestation. Our emergency team intervenes free of charge in the event of an emergency call.

The use of pesticides is limited to a minimum.

Pest prevention

In its capacity as specialised service provider and pioneer in the sector of pest prevention, Pest Management Solutions has developed a unique documented pest control system. The system complies with the demands in respect of :

The package consists of various modules that are implemented in accordance with the specific needs of your company.

Fumigation

Gas with a fast and high degree of penetration is usually the only practical solution to deal with vermination in bulk goods, goods in bags or inaccessible rooms in buildings.
Fumigation is a control technique which is applied all over the world against storehouse insects (beetles, moths, mites, etc.) in flourmills, grain silos, food companies and ships. Both finished products and raw materials qualify for this treatment.

However, this is a control technique which requires a high degree of technical know-how.
Obviously, security is a factor which should not be underestimated.
Pest Management Solutions is also a pioneer when it comes to alternative technology, such as treatments with warmth, nitrogen and carbon monoxide.

Weed killing

Unwanted overgrowth can be eliminated by means of selective or total herbicides.
Rampant weeds can entice rodents to lodge around the industrial buildings. In addition, they are not beneficial from a viewpoint of fire safety.

Protection of buildings

Fungus, mould, woodworms, birds, …
Buildings are often threatened by parasites that are sometimes well hidden, but nonetheless harmful.

In such cases, Pest Management Solutions sends experts for a thorough examination of all threatened places. This examination results in a very detailed report, in which the experts describe an effective method for the treatment of parasites and put it into practice if required.

We provide a ten-year guarantee, which is countersigned by an insurance company.

Electric fly killers

Electric flycatchers are installed to secure the critical zones in food companies. These appliances have been developed to comply with the most stringent safety regulations. They lure flying insects by means of special ultraviolet lamps. These insects are efficiently electrocuted or stick to a plate. Of course, protection against glass breakage is taken as a standard in accordance with the R.D. of February 7, 1997.
The lamps have to be replaced once a year.
Pest Management Solutions checks these appliances on a regular basis in order to ensure optimum action and continuation.
Pest Management Solutions has also developed a unique "Renting System".

Disinfection

In case of a contamination of houses, cold stores, silos, lorries, industrial warehouses, sanitary facilities, etc., it can be of the highest importance to end the contamination immediately for the sake of public health or the safety of the food chain. Pest Management Solutions puts a team at your disposal that is specialised in disinfecting and deodorising by means of a bacteriological treatment.
It is also possible to carry out analyses (in cooperation with the university of Ghent).

A certificate will always be delivered.

Hygiene audits and sampling

We have developed a unique audit programme in cooperation with our sister company NPC. The parameters are discussed in consultation with the customer and classified according to the degree of importance. 
The assessment criteria are based on the Royal Decrees, the European Guidelines and the needs of the purchasing organisations (FDA, M&S, Tesco,…).

The audit is carried out according to a fixed pattern of ten subgroups:
